Take your family on a lakefront getaway! Located across from Marluc Bella Vita Ranch's Lake Godstone Lodge, this guest house has three bedrooms, full bath with tub, den with TV, full kitchen, a private patio with fire pit, seating, propane BBQ and smoker, kids fenced playground with slide and swingset, a carport and RV services for 2 RV units and a private boat dock with cover. You'll have access to excellent fishing and 10 miles of hiking and biking trails around the lake and on the wooded upper meadows. Wildlife viewing stations are provided. The sports complex has a lit basketball court, sand volleyball and a soccer/baseball practice field as well as an observatory with telescope. INCLUDES: - Three Nights Accommodation for up to 8 guests - Access to Wildlife, Trails, and Private Stocked Lake - Basketball Court, Sand Volleyball, Soccer/Baseball Field and Observatory The house sleeps up to 8 people with one king bed, 2 full beds, one twin and one roll-away bed. We had the pleasure of getting to enjoy a weekend here. This place rocks! Much thought went into the layout and setup. For smaller groups, you can remain on the first floor. For larger groups, you can expand to the top floor which is a huge bunk room.
Plan accordingly and bring everything you’ll need because you won’t want to leave. You know, like stuff for s’mores while you’re sitting around the fire pit in the evening. Like to fish? Bring your equipment as the small lake has shore fishing. Have a kayak and like to fish from it? Bring it and open more water. We were there in winter, but there are several water activities too for the warmer months. This is a true country gem that you will be glad you explored. - Joe F
A note from First Tee of Greater Dallas: Eldred's Nursery Foundation online auction is produced and promoted by Great Causes Texas Auctions Co-op to help raise money for our life skills and job training program at our retail and wholesale nursery in Belton, Texas. Eldred's Nursery Foundation provides training for young people of special needs, as they transition from high school to the workplace in their adult life.
